The JSRs for Android project provides the implementation of some JSRs for the Android platform. The targeted JSRs are the JSR defining the Mobile Service Architecture.
The JSRs found here are not official implementations. They have not passed any compatibility test kit. They are just provided as is, without any warranty of any kind.
Sun Microsystems released under the GPL v2 license a Java ME platform implementation: the phoneME project. Many classes are modified versions of the phoneME project classes.
